This Earth Day, we took time to celebrate in a special way right here at The Crest Beach House, our beach vacation rental in Wildwood Crest, NJ. With the sun shining, the waves gently crashing, and a spirit of gratitude in our hearts, we spent the day learning, exploring, and giving back to the beautiful beach that we are blessed to call our backyard. Our morning started with a meaningful lesson for the kids on the 3 R's: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle. We talked about how caring for the Earth is a way to show love and respect for God's amazing creation. Psalm 24:1 reminds us, "The Earth is the Lord's, and everything in it," a truth that guided us throughout the day.

Armed with buckets, gloves, and lots of enthusiasm, we set off for a beach clean-up and scavenger hunt. Every piece of trash we picked up and every beautiful shell we collected was a reminder of how small acts can create a big impact.
One special moment that captured our hearts was when Mia, our 8-year-old, said, "Being in nature feels like home." Her words stopped us in our tracks — because that’s exactly what we hope every guest feels when they stay here: a sense of peace, belonging, and the freedom to just be.

This Earth Day, we were reminded that nature isn’t just a beautiful place we visit — it’s part of the story. It's where we feel most alive, most grounded, and most at home.
Ready to plan your own beach getaway? We invite you to make the beach your backyard at The Crest Beach House—a peaceful beach vacation rental in Wildwood Crest, New Jersey—where every stay is a way to connect with nature and each other.
